At Croydon Uniting Church (CUC) we believe that one practical way that we can express our faith is by giving of our time, talents and finances to support various causes that help build up the wider community. There are several that ways people can get involved.
To financially support any of the activities, click on the related GiveNow button which will take you to a secure giving portal where you can make a donation by credit card. You may also like to consider giving your time by volunteering at either Helping Hand or Playgroup.
Giving to support the congregation
Every Sunday, there is a time set aside for blessing the various offerings being made to further God’s kingdom through CUC. These include money, non-perishable food items for Helping Hand, and the commitment of the time and actions of those who attend that day.
At the entrance to the worship space, a bowl is available for people to contribute financially and a shopping trolley is provided for food items, both of which are brought to the front during this time. Financial giving is also available by clicking this button or by direct debit arranged through the church office.
Helping Hand is our community food program that operates 5 mornings a week from a Uniting property at 5A Mount View Road Croydon. On Sundays, when we meet together, various members bring produce from their gardens and other goods which are sold and the proceeds are donated to the Helping Hand program.
If you wish to support HH financially, it can be done through this GiveNow link. If you require tax deductability for your donation, this is available via the Rotary club. Please contact the church office email@example.com for more information.
Croydon Uniting Church operate playgroups on Wednesday and Friday mornings at the church property, 6 Tallent St Croydon. These groups are open to any families with pre-school children, from babies to kinder age. We welcome families from all backgrounds. Playgroup is an important part of our community.
Your financial support will fund new equipment and enable this important ministry to families in our community to continue.
We have supported this important ministry in our local schools for many years and currently support chaplains at Croydon Primary School and Melba Secondary College. Your financial help will enable this important ministry to children, teenagers and their families to continue.
